of the first ever group practices when it was formed in 1930. The practice is
changing and developing to provide our patients with the most up-to-date care
in the NHS.

The Village Surgery
St Nicholas School
Central Surgery in Barton is open from 8.00am until 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding
Bank & Public Holidays.
The Village Surgery in Goxhill is open from 8.00am until 1.00pm and then from 2.00pm until
6.00pm, Monday to Thursday. The opening hours for a Friday are now 8.00am until 1.00pm and then from 2.00pm until 4.00pm. This does not affect the opening times for the Pharmacy.
The Surgery in Ulceby is open from 2.00pm until 4.00pm on a Tuesday, by appointment only.

Dr Jaggs-Fowler Patients
As from 1st February 2016, Dr R M Jaggs-Fowler will be leaving Central Surgery.
Therefore, all his patients will be transferred under the care of our new GP Dr R Humble.
Dr Sanghera Patients
Dr A Sanghera has now left Central Surgery.
Therefore, all her patients have been transferred under the care of the remaining GPs.

NB: Patients have been broken down by surname, therefore if any of your family have a different surname, it may be they are allocated a different GP in this transfer. If you are not happy with this, please inform Reception who will place your full family with same GP.
Central Surgery would like to thank everyone for their participation and interest at the Christmas fair, overall we raised £45.30 which will help towards our equipment fund. Congratulations to Yvonne who was the winner of the fruit basket.
The nasal spray flu vaccine for 2015/16 will be offered routinely on the NHS to all children who were aged two, three and four on 31st August 2015. That is, children with a date of birth on or after 1st September 2010 and on or before 31st August 2013, or at risk such as asthmatic or diabetic. If your child is eligible, please ring the Surgery to make an appointment with the nurse.
- Going on Holiday? Please enquire when you order your usual repeat if you need an extended amount of your medication.
- An external clinic for Sexual Health is held at the Barton Surgery on a Tuesday 2:00-5:00pm. This is a 'walk in' clinic, however if an appointment is preferred the contact number is 0300 330 1122.
- CALL THE MIDWIFE- If you have recently discovered that you are pregnant you can self refer direct to the midwives by contacting 01652 660052.
- If you are 70, 71, 72, 78 or 79 on the 1st September 2015, you are eligible for a Shingles Vaccination. Please contact the Surgery on 01652 636600 option 1, or alternatively you may present to Reception to arrange an appointment.

On-Line Booking Facility
The Practice now provides an on-line booking service for a number of appointments, available to book from 6:30am on the day.
This is designed to help those patients who have difficulty in booking an appointment during normal Surgery hours.
Any patient wishing to take advantage of this service, MUST present at the Surgery to register and receive a unique PASSWORD.
Proof of identity MUST be brought with you when registering such as a utility bill, drivers licence or passport.
The total amount of patients who DID NOT ATTEND their Doctors appointment in December was 91. This is equivalent to just over 15 hours lost Doctors time.
The total amount of patients who DID NOT ATTEND their Nurses appointment in December was 224. This is equivalent to just over 47 hours lost Nurses time.
It is very important to cancel any appointments you are unable to attend.
